And I find it comforting to know that I can almost always make it, because I've got eggs and bread in the kitchen.

Yes, the faux tuna! It's especially good in the summer, when tomatoes are in season and you can stuff them into your sandwich. We should check that place out :-)

The faux tuna recipe (which I think is practically a classic in vegetarian and vegan cooking now) is seriously terrific. The key points are getting the mayonnaise:chickpea ratio correct (for your taste) and using delicious seasonings to flavor the "tuna." Slather it on some good bread with some additional sandwich fixings and you've got one heck of a lunch.

OK, now I'm hungry too! Happy eating :-)Rosiecat24https://www.blogger.com/profile/07219527037186545061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6822839939627192494.post-32994713457034681572011-01-26T23:11:42.713-06:002011-01-26T23:11:42.713-06:00I weirdly have simultaneous cravings for both (fau...I weirdly have simultaneous cravings for both (faux) tuna and Mexican food right now. What do I do about THAT?!

I suppose I try out your fake tuna recipe soon and then make plans for a night out for Mexican food. OK then.

P.S. The word verification is "ovenala." Doesn't that sound like the newest trendy restaurant in town? Do they have faux tuna salad burritos?Katehttp://kateo.orgnoreply@blogger.com
