You could be even more challenged if your other is picky or refuses to eat leftovers (a not-uncommon thing in my experience)!

You are a woman after my own heart: the need for lunch is exactly why I make stews and casseroles: good leftovers, they travel well, and they reheat well in a microwave. If only we had a toaster oven in my lunchroom...that would be awesome!

Thanks for stopping by! Also, I usually make something like lentil stew in the beginning of the week and then eat it for lunch for the remainder.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6822839939627192494.post-54309606821970529012008-03-21T11:54:00.000-05:002008-03-21T11:54:00.000-05:00Nick, get thee to a grocery store! I think I like them better in thicker stews than thin, brothy soups. As a health-minded individual, I think you will enjoy the full flavors and few fat grams of this stew; I would guess it's about 3-5 grams of fat from the olive oil per serving, which is pretty darn good for an entree!

Thanks for stopping by!Rosiecat24https://www.blogger.com/profile/07219527037186545061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6822839939627192494.post-50012777767466820582008-03-18T02:27:00.000-05:002008-03-18T02:27:00.000-05:00Lentils, I was just talking about them. Stew sounds a lot better though, I may have to try!

- The Peanut Butter BoyThe Peanut Butter Boyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06182799129657149969noreply@blogger.com
